First time poster here and I've had some thoughts about tonights episode that I had to throw out there....

- Last season's finale, when Kate says "I can't stay to long, you know how HE is", I think she is referrring to Aaron and not her "significant other".

- When Kate hugs Aaron at the end of Eggtown (right after he says "hi mommy" and she says "hi Aaron") she has this "if you only knew" look on her face. Which would explain...

- Why Kate does not want to return to the island. Claire is still alive, back on the island, and if they were to return to save those left on the island, Kate would "lose" Aaron.

- Jack's guilt comes from the fact that Aaron's REAL mother is still alive, yet they (Oceanic 6) had to, for some reason, lie and say that she died (of course after giving birth to Aaron)

just some thoughts that I had to get out there.....

I think it is more likely that Claire asks Kate to take her son off the island for his protection. IF, the boy is Claire's at all. It may still be possible that Kate gave birth to the boy and Sawyer is the father. Kate made it clear that she isn't really comfortable with babies so definitely this is a huge change for her to be a mother. I can't wait to find out the whole truth!

really good predictions!! i hope we find out who the baby is and how he ends up with Kate in this season... otherwise...
I hope that the baby is Kate and Sawyer's baby because Claire wouldn't give up her Aaron, which means that for Kate to have Aaron, she would either have stolen him from Claire or Claire has died! And Claire CAN'T die!

    Don't forget Par Avon

I predict that Claire is already off the island with a number other survivors. What will be the big surprise is when the bird that Claire and Desmond released in Par Avon shows up somewhere with the note that there were 48 survivors. How will that play in the press with Jack's statement in court that only 8 survived the crash?

Maybe the bird never made it; maybe it's "stuck" somewhere in time, you know, experiencing the side effects that Desmond, Makowski, and Eloise encountered

I don't think that Kate would want the baby, if not for helping out Claire and saving him somehow.

Existentialist: Kate want baby, because when Kate sayed to Sawyer that she may be pregnant,Sawyer sayed that "I hope no". Kate was upset. So I think she want baby... ;]

Tombika: I agree with you that Kate was upset that she was not pregnant. But I think that had more to do with her relationship with Sawyer. I think she would like to be pregnant by a man she loves (Sawyer/Jack), more than just have a baby. So I don't feel she would have any motivation to just posess Aaron, unless there was a good reason for it.
