Linus VS. Widmore

So I've been wondering why Ben can't kill Widmore and vice-versa (When Ben appears in Widmore's penthouse at the end of " The Shape of Things To Come " Widmore asks "Are you here to kill me Benjamin ? " and Ben replies " You and I both know I can't do that. " My theory is that Ben and Widmore are each others CONSTANT. Make sense to anyone else?

Wow, I hadn't thought of that. I just thought it was part of "the rules" (perhaps Ben chose the Book of Rules" that Richard offered?). But your theory is actually awesome! That would be crazy if they were sworn enemies, yet they were each other's constant. After all, who else would be Ben's constant? The only one I can think of is Annie (since they said she'll be very important to things, yet we've only seen her once as a little girl). Perhaps Richard could be, but Widmore does make more sense. I know, I can't wait for the finale either!! Two whole hours of LOST!!!! Only downside is that we then have to wait until next January to start back in. But I think maybe this break I'll re-watch all of the first 3 seasons in light of what I know now and look at all the stuff I've probably forgotten. I love this show! I love this blog too! (Except when no one responds because there are so many blogs and I usually can't get stuff entered until the weekend.Posted 05-17-2008 at 09:24 PM by LOSTLOVER
