season 5's finale answered a few questions but not many and left us with a few more. we're finally introduced to Jacob, and then he is dead (or is he?). in this episode we are shown Jacob cooking a fish and eating it(in what time? we don't know, he's been there for centuries, yet never ages). the man who sits beside him while he's eating is not introduced to us, but i have a theory. in the bible, Jacob is the son of Isaac, who is the son of Abraham, all biblical patriarchs. Jacob has a brother named Esau who hates him. also, in the bible, Jacob brings his family to Egypt where he resides and dies and is buried. hes known as a cave dweller in the bible which i also found interesting, cause that's where he's staying in an Egyptian cave of some sort. up until now Lost has made a huge amount of biblical references and i do believe it has a lot to do with the bottom line. this place Jacob lives in is also known to be the place of judgment and the gateway to heaven. it is also made references to being Paradise. i believe they have found the Garden of Eden and are all being judged! let me know what you think...
