why does this come on wehn john gets trapped under the door? it doesnt come on in any other lockdown that i recall.

YEA I AGREE, AND IF U THINK ABOUT IT, WHEN IT SHOWS DESMOND AND KELVIN IN A FLASH *BACK* IT SHOWS THEM SETTING IT OFF ON PURPOSE AND THE UV DIDNT ACTIVATE......ANOTHER THING THAT WAS very very very WIERD WAS THAT KELVIN WAS DRAWING IT ALMOST WITH OUT SEEING WHAT WAS THERE ALREADY.....FLORECENT PAINT, BUT HOW DID HE KNOW WHERE 2 PUT IT......THAT WAS ODD! LIKE HE COULD SEE EHAT WA ON THE BLAST DOOR CAUSE OBVIOUSLY THE ENGLISH SCRIPTURE WAS KELVINS AND THE LATIN WASHID PARTNER FROM B4.....I LOVE THIS SHOW...... HAVE U SEEN HOW ALL THE PAINTINGS HAVE A CONNECTON TOO......THE HATCH, PENNY'S DADS OFFICE, MICHEAL FROM B4 WALT WAS BORN, AND CLAIRE BOYFRIEND.....wowowowoowowowow.....WHO COMES UP WITH THIS...

yes not sure how he could do it without seeing it unless the paint was raised in some way.

Yes, that UV light always makes me curious! There are a lot of little unsolved things like that that they never resolve!

if i remember correctly the light came on when des, sort of jerry-rigged the system to simulate a lockdown. I really don't remember how that 1 dude wrote on the door, but i do remember he was at a really weird angle studying it while he painted, almost like a professional painter, maybe u can see it at a certain angle, but I think that map was very accurate, I hope locke has the paper he copied it onto, it'd help the losties alot.

Maybe since the island had Johns attetion.Fate took the oppertunity to make one litttle thing happen to steer John down the path he was sopposed to follow.Whos to say Kalvins mentor didnt use the light before Kalvin came.Do you know that on the back of all four puzzles put together is that map.But you have to have your own uv light.

I might be wrong but isn't the lockdown that pins locke the only real lockedown maybe the wires they messed with just brought the doors down not really initiated the full on this place is gonna blow lockdown so the light's didn't come on. Did the doors come down before desmond turned the key i remember stuff slamming into that one magnetic wall wouldn't the blast doors have blocked that kitchen area off. and the blacklight should have been on if it turned on when locke was pinned. Maybe the blast doors weren't really made for what we thought. Someone I think hurley said maybe it was just so nobody could see the food drop.
